are an endangered plant named the Cahaba Lily. It grows in the
shoals of the Cahaba River which runs through north central Alabama.
Unlike the swamp lily which grows in stagnant water, the Cahaba
Lily thrives only in the rocky shoals in fast, free flowing water. |
