| A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Carolyn is a graduate of Auburn University where she majored in commercial art. Her paintings have received recognition throughout the South, including awards in the Southern Wildlife Show, the Alabama Wildlife Federation, and the Alabama Duck Stamp Competition. She has over 20 giclée, limited edition and open edition prints. |

| Carolyn won the Best of Fauna Division in the Annual Alabama Wildlife Federation Art Contest in 2006 with this painting of Chaplin, a barn owl that resides in the Southeastern Raptor Center at Auburn University. The Center rehabs injured and orphaned birds of prey to release back into the wild. This piece is now part of the Alabama Wildlife Federation's collection in Montgomery, Alabama.
